22 September: D + 5

Daylight:

- ADGB: because of bad weather conditions, rain and heavy fog there were no patrol flights by fighters.13 planes with supplies were ready for take off but were put to stand by.

- 8 Th Airforce: Despite of bad weather 2 groups of Thunderbolt’s were send to Arnhem for patrol flight’s and met some Luftwaffe opposition.

- Luftwaffe: 1 Fw-190, 1 Bf-109 and 4 other planes were lost.
