The aircraft were all-wood structures and the nose was hinged so that vehicles could be driven in and out. The crew was accommodated in a flight compartment high on the fuselage to ensure that they were in no way interfered with the loading of tanks or vehicles. It was the first British glider to carry a tank into action. |
