job! Lots of info that has been meticulously researched. It helps to understand the battle
more to actually see it in person. But some of us may never get that opportunity. So all
the photos here help a lot. It is especially interesting to see the modern photos of the
battle areas. Keep up the good work. I'll be sure to visit this site more often!!

in Neuengamme Concentration Camp in Feb. 1945 - my Mother Martha Mol Dijkstra also was

Sqnd. He ended up at the Hartstien Hotel and later swam across the river. After regrouping
the remnants of his outfit were transported to Leuvane? where they were ordered to locate
a weapon before they were allowed to eat or rest. He died in 1999 not having fully passed
on his exploits but i suppose this must be the same for many of the Arnhem vetrans I
uncovered many interesting documents whilst dealing with his estate including his callup
papers and discharge documents also a letter written in 1944 from a friend congratulating
him and his commrades for the job they did.

Comments: This website is great, the length at which you went to research the Market
Garden operation on this website is just great. The German resistance during Market Garden
can only be relived through video games like Medal Of Honor: Frontline. But that does not
compare to the recollections of those who fought in the battle them selfs, I like the
veterans memories part it brings a true light to what The British, American and German
soldiers went through. You've did great great work, Thanks and keep it up.
