original record of marriage

A portret photo of the couple was sent from the USA to my Great Grandfater Symen Jans Hoekstra and kept by my Grandfather Hendrik Hoekstra. The photo was taken at the H.R. (Henry Ralph) Koopman Photo Gallery, corner 111th street and Michigan Avenue, Roseland, Illinois. This is the Gallery on a photo taken in 1886. Henry Ralph Koopman II was a Dutch emigrant and well known minister in the community. His brother George joined him in the photography studio business. Roseland is a neighborhood in the south side of Chicago.
